ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

One of the largest exhibitions dedicated to the Catalan artist in our country, encompassing 170 works, „Salvador Dalí’s Universe” invites viewers on an unforgettable journey through the eccentric artist’s works: life-size sculptures, surrealist furniture and other specially crafted works of art whose composition ingeniously uses materials such as glass, bronze, gold and even diamonds. The exhibition at ARCUB – Gabroveni Inn tests the visitor’s perception of reality and goes beyond the limits of the rational. The surreal journey culminates in a unique VR experience that will leave a lasting impression on the memory and imagination of every visitor.

Dance of Time III (conceived in 1979, first cast in 1984) – Salvador Dalí

DALÍ'S UNIVERSE

The Salvador Dalí needs no introduction. One of the most influential artists of the 20th century, the renowned artist brought Surrealism, an artistic movement that emphasised the exploration of the subconscious and areas of the irrational within the artistic process, to its peak. A multifaceted artist who made his mark in the worlds of sculpture, literature, film, furniture design, jewellery and even advertising, Dalí was a unique phenomenon, a personality who made his name in the art history. Now you have the opportunity to enter the fascinating labyrinth of a genius’s creation.

The VR section invites you on a special adventure. Who better to guide you through Dalí’s most famous masterpieces than the artist himself? You can take a dazzling tour of Dali’s stunning creations of his imagination in a new dimension, that of virtual reality.
