ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

One of the most extensive exhibitions dedicated to the Catalan artist in Romania, „The Universe of Salvador Dalí” invites viewers on an unforgettable journey through the works of the eccentric artist. Featuring life-sized sculptures, surrealist furniture, and other specially crafted artworks, the exhibition ingeniously incorporates materials such as glass, bronze, gold, and even diamonds. Hosted at Casa Hintz, an iconic historic building in Cluj-Napoca, the exhibition challenges visitors’ perception of reality and pushes the boundaries of rationality. The surreal journey culminates in a unique VR experience that leaves a lasting impression on the memory and imagination of every visitor.

DALÍ'S UNIVERSE

Salvador Dalí needs no introduction. One of the most influential artists of the 20th century, the famous artist brought surrealism to its peak, an artistic movement that emphasized exploring the subconscious and irrational realms of artistic creation. A multifaceted artist who left his mark in the worlds of sculpture, literature, cinema, furniture design, miniatures in gold, and even advertising, Dalí was a unique phenomenon—a personality who wrote his name into the history of art. Salvador Dalí’s works can now be admired in Cluj-Napoca, offering you the chance to delve into the fascinating labyrinth of a genius’s creation.

The VR section invites you on a special adventure. Who better to guide you through Dalí’s most famous masterpieces than the artist himself? You can take a dazzling tour of Dali’s stunning creations of his imagination in a new dimension, that of virtual reality.
